Happenings at home.

Quiet days are best, I think. Because from them, quiet memories are always treasured.

I've been teaching myself the guitar of late. Strumming quiet, singing soft, praising Him.

By far the best instructional videos I have found come from the blog For YOUR Glory. Mr Choo is an excellent teacher, and if you're already familiar with some chords, you can play quite a few songs! The list of songs he teaches are here. I'd definitely look into this if you're wanting to learn the guitar on your own!

And of course, if you live in GA and you're a guns-men or hunter, the first weekend in September can't come soon enough! Dove season is here.

And now for the "awww" moment of the day.....

We have a broody hen. Ben left some eggs under her, but we weren't expecting anything to happen. Earlier this month, all six chicks hatched!!

I'll post some more of them soon. They are too cute!
