WARNING: LOTS OF PICTURES!
Haydon-boy. I love his eyes! I can't believe he's 6 almost 7!
Marianah age 12.
FISH! Messed up with the focus on this one, but I love the color.
Sometimes, the best way to cane pole fish is with your feet... or to sit on it, like Mari did. : )
Marianah and a chip. Love this girl!
Haydon was perpetually leaning over the dock.... I think he was fishing...
Dylan (12) and Julie (14)
My ultimate favorite! This picture will never grow old.
Dylan's hand.
Patience is the key to fishing...
"Look Uncle Bryan! You caught one!"
Father and Son.

Still fishing! You'll get one soon Julie!
Dylan and Mari, need I say more?
Dylan's fish!
The sun came out and gave some incredible lighting!
Julie Anne.
Haydon and I. Thanks for the picture, Julie!
Ben and Mari, in the John boat, chasing a beaver.
In the end, Ben and Mari were in the boat. (There had been a plot since we got there to throw me in the lake. I kept the camera strap firmly around my neck.) We were headed back to shore when Dylan walked up behind Julie and pushed her in! Hysterical laughter ensued and I pushed Dylan in. (afterwards I realized Dylan had his best shoes on!) They (Julie and Dylan) both got on board and tried to get me in the water. (The camera was in the bag by now and I was fair game, oh no!)
I declared I'd jump in of my own accord but Julie knew better and she pushed me. All I can say is, or really could say was "bbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
Ben jumped. Mari was pushed by I don't remember who. And Haydon jumped, got scared and shot out dripping wet.
We had a lovely ride home. Really!

Thank you all for your comments on my last post, which was... let's see... March 14th! Oh my!
Life's been crazy busy, what with my brother's 52 chickens, installing a bee nuc (I'm a beekeeper!) cousins over, english country dancing, birthdays, summer plans, gardening, running in the evenings, learning the ukulele and are in the process of adopting my sweet cousin, Adrian.
What are ya'll up to?
I LOOOOVE your pictures, Allison!!! You're such a great photographer! I didn't know that you were a beekeeper! That's so cool! I've always thought beekeeping was so cool although I'm deathly afraid of bees. :) Ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI've been praying for you guys as you are going through the adoption of your cousin Adrian. I know when times can be tough it is easy to lose hope, but keep trusting Him! Last year I went through a really hard time but the more I sought after Him, the more I grew closer and closer to Him and the more He proved Himself relevant in my life!
"One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock." -Psalm 27:4-5
Have a blessed week!
Kaitlyn
Hi Kaitlyn!
Deletelol, I'm not really afraid of bees but the other day I we had a swarm and I was working with them without hat, gloves, smoker, and umm.. short sleeves. Not a fun experience! : P
Thanks so much for your prayers and the scripture! Your comment means so much!
Thanks again!
Allison

I love the pictures! We have such a beautiful family. I agree with Katie, you have a way of quietly capturing the spirit of the person and moment with your camera. I enjoyed seeing you in Ellijay. Wish we had more time! Love you Allison. xoxox Cassie
